containing recommendations for the consideration of this Excellency the Govenor respecting the reorgani zation of the Exquieering Staff, it will be observed that in the list of salaries proposed I have not filled in that of the Surveyor General, While leaving the matter entirely to the Government I venture to eubmit for stis Excellency's favourable consideration that in a minute by my predecessor (in comparing the salary proposed for a Quantity Surveyor
with that of the Engineers.
